Great little shack just past Tori Station. If a good classic American breakfast is what your looking for or just some delicious pancakes...this is where you want to be. Has a few selection of different pancakes or you can ask for what you don't see on the menu. Parking is not exactly available at the shack but they do offer parking on the other side of the block. The presentation is exactly how it is pictured on their menus! Price is about average. Food is delicious and the staff who attend you very fast are very nice. They only take cash. Pancakes offer the option of opting out the whipped cream with ice cream and other toppings. Highly recommend.

Great pancakes and toppings! The atmosphere is nice and the staff are friendly. English menus are available. Only issue to think of is parking. There are only a few parking spots directly at the cafe, but they do have a parking lot a short walk away.

Nice for family with baby and kids! provide car park, baby chair and eating utensils for kids, menu in english and japanese, a separate room for family with 8~10 adults, food is delicious!

Delicious Pancakes, with all the trim or just bacon and eggs.

Jakkepoes Pancake House is a delicious breakfast place. Their pancakes are some of the best I've ever had. The parking is limited so be sure to show up early. I recommend this restaurant to anyone who is looking for a tasty breakfast.

Nice cozy breakfast place! Super good n tasty pancake!!

So yummy and delicious! Great atmosphere and can even accommodate large parties (I think 10 people could have sat at the table we sat at). They have a lot of options for a good price. Really easy to find but parking is kinda a mess. Not much room so try to take a small car if you have the option. They also had local gifts and art from locals and we bought a few items for Christmas gifts here.

Food was amazing! They give syrup but it did not need it! Service was great. It is yen or cash only. And limited parking, like most places in OKI! Must go!

Nice pancke with english menu

One of my favorite eateries on island, the food is delicious, made to order quickly, and the staff is so polite.

The place felt like a small family run place, rather than a proper cafe. The pancakes were awesome, but as they are made to order, it was a bit of a wait for us, but well worth it. French toast was great too.

Their pancakes are AWESOME! Their staff is AWESOME! The normal serving was a lot for me. I get 2 pancakes instead. This place is definitely my first pick when it comes to breakfast food.

Good food, good atmosphere. Not horribly busy, but a bit lacking in A/C. They have really interesting drink options, including brown sugar milk, which tastes like liquid Creme Brulee. The coffee isn't the best I've ever had, but it was good. They don't accept credit cards.

This place is amazing very limited parking. But the pancakes are delicious. They will come out looking exactly like the picture! Highly recommend this place

Deliciousness! Everything was perfect. Perfect taste. Perfect protions. Decently priced. We'll definitely be returning with more friends in tow. I would recommend this place over any other family pancake restaurant on island. They have a limited-season of Apple Cinnamon pankes as well, but strawberry (and the chocolate chip) are our favorites.

We were able be seated right away, but it can be a wait because it stays busy. The food is made to order and delicious, parking is a challenge but worth it. Everything meal was cooked to perfection. We will be coming back often. And there is a beach area at the end of the road to walk off the meal and relax.

Pancakes were delicious. Hot chocolate too. And you’re in a real house which is kinda of cute and cool.

Used to be much smaller and much less busy. Yesterday I think I waited 25 minutes for my drink order because they forgot. Food is good but slow.

AMAZING FOOD, the service is fantastic. They don’t take card but they take USD and yen. When I say the pancakes were so moist they didn’t need syrup I mean it. Very homey and cozy. Definitely go if you get the chance, it was a wholesome experience.

Do you miss American breakfast? Add Jakkepoes to your list and you'll be a happy camper. A little expensive, but worth the splurge once in a while.

Worth the drive！

This place has the best strawberry and banana pancakes! It reminds me of iHOP!

The pancakes here were AMAZING. It’s a small shop, so it can get crowded pretty quickly.

We went for a Saturday breakfast. I had the chili bean pancakes and my wife had the rum raisin. The pancakes were delicious. The chili wouldn’t win any awards, but would certainly place towards the top. They had English menus and out waitress spoke excellent English. Also, the coffee was brewed to order and extremely smooth. We’ll certainly be back!

The coffee, pancakes, toppings and sides are all fantastic! We love eating breakfast here! The prices are pretty reasonable too!

They have pancakes with all different types of toppings. The hot cocoa was good. Tried the soup of the day wasn’t a fan but it wasn’t bad. Place looks like someone’s home but very quiet area. Not a lot of parking. YEN ONLY.

I have to say this place is amazing! I'm a picky eater and really missing home and this just hit the spot. It was delicious, beautifully plated and everyone was super friendly. I definitely will he going back!!

Great breakfast ! Food is not too heavy. It’s just right ! This is definitely going to be one of our go to spots ! The only thing is the very limited parking spaces. It’s super tight! They don’t take cards but they do take cash. The wait time is not long, but like any other restaurant, if it’s crowded then the wait time increases. Great hospitality...very respectful people! My wife, daughter, and I enjoyed it !
